The calendar includes 12 challenge discs (4 can be displayed per month), that can be extended with other sets purchased separately.
Each month you can place 4 challenge discs you want to complete in the space provided for them. The challenge discs are decorated on both sides. So if you completed, you can flip to the "Completed" side of the challenge disc.
The paper part of the calendar is also replaceable, so you can use it for more years. The calendar paper is always sent with the current year (or the following year if it is close to the end of the year).
