What is our Ambassador Program?
Our goal is to create language options for our products with the help of our customers.
While you help us create this, you will also be entitled to be the ambassador for a language/product combination.
Only 3 steps to join!
How does the program work?
1️⃣ Choose an insert you’d like to see available in your language.
2️⃣ If it’s not listed on the product page:
▪️Check whether the board game has an official language localization.
▪️We’re happy to create any language version, but we limit them to officially published versions.
3️⃣ Once everything is ready, fill out the form to start your ambassador journey!
▪️Fill in your name and email address.
▪️Choose your language*.
▪️Select a product**.
▪️Add any additional notes if needed.
▪️You’re done with step one! We’ll take it from here.
* Currently, we only ship within the EU, so language options are limited to these countries.
**If it’s not listed but available on our store, choose "Other available The GiftForge product" and add the name in the notes.
4️⃣ After receiving your form:
▪️We’ll contact you with more details and questions, and we’ll send you the texts that need translating.
⚠️ Important: This is not a full translation job. It’s mainly about finding the terms in the rulebook.
▪️Our English engravings come from the official rulebooks, and we need your help to find the same terms in your localized version.
▪️ Occasionally, a bit of creativity might be required, but most of the work is simply looking up words.
▪️ If we’re already working with another ambassador for that same language/product combination, you’ll be added to a queue. We’ll contact you if the previous ambassador is unavailable.
▪️You may only apply for one language/product combination at a time. This helps prevent people from reserving too many. Once you’ve completed one, you’re welcome to apply again!
5️⃣ Once the translation is finished:
▪️We’ll add it as an option on the product page, and you’ll be able to order it in your language.
▪️You will get a 20% discount coupon for the product you helped. *
▪️Your name will be listed in the Hall of Ambassadors with the products you helped.
* The coupon is limited to 1 pc and can be used for the following 3 months.
