The product is not compatible with the 1st edition of the insert due to changes in the height. The insert is compatible with all the Arkham Horror: The Card Game related product that has the "Revised edition" in its name.
Material: birch wood. The product won't lift the lid. Tested with premium sleeved cards. This product does not require assembly.
